I can't even start to explain any of my silly reasons for not posting on here in almost a year. So I won't.
That being said, I'll be honest and say that I've been trying to find some reason to post, for about a month now. Then the epiphany hit me like a load of bricks.
I don't need a reason. I just don't.
I can't say that anyone would care too much if I unloaded 11 months and 20 days of blah blah blah every day life on here. I'll simplify it. I went to work, I went to sleep, I had some fun in between, and no major crisis occurred. I made new friends and made mistakes as well. Nothing wholeheartedly life altering, mind you. Just mistakes. Like dropping the phone I only owned for about 3 months and shattering the screen.
Out of those mistakes though, I learned some lessons. Get a phone case, for instance, or the lesson about choosing cat food without an red or yellow dye. Cats WILL throw up and its easier to get out of the carpet without those particular color dyes. Lesson VERY learned on that one. Ew. I learned that Daddy Long Leg spiders are called Huntsman in other part of the country and they don't freak me out quite as much as actual spiders. I also developed an addiction to Animal Crossing, acrylic cups with straws, and Grumpy Cat. Apparently everyone says the little bugger reminds them of me. Prolly not a good thing but I'll take it. There are worse memes to be like.
On a more recent note, Marvel Universe movies are more amazing with every release. Watched Guardians of the Galaxy last night and I absolutely loved it! Hands down, Groot was my favorite character.
I was also given all of the A Song of Ice and Fire novels by Claire and read them in about a month and a half. They were fascinating reads but I kind of stalled during a Feast of Crows. For some reason, I just slogged through those book like mud.
Um... more blah blah blah... I don't really have a literary piece to post here tonight. I felt it was a bit pretentious to jump right into introspective pontification after such a long break. So along those lines, I'll wrap it up here, lovelies. Yay for actually doing something productive today. Well, kind of.
Don't judge me.
